Thoughts on Babywearing |
What's my favorite accessory? My Little Man! It's so great to have him strapped to me. He relaxes and enjoys himself when we're out for so much longer than when he is in the stroller or the shopping cart.
While I love having him attached to me, I am still looking for a better carrier, the Baby Bjorn can be killer on the back and I see so many cute ones at http://www.nonnyandboo.com/
Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing rocks the pocket sling. She's doing a giveaway at her site: http://www.adventuresinbabywearing.com/2008/11/im-kanga-to-her-roo.html
I hope I can try out a new, pretty carrier! |

I see that you're looking for something other than a Bjorn, and I agree. We had a Bjorn, and I was never comfortable in it. I now have an Ergo and a Kozy Carrier that I love. Pretty much every other carrier I've tried has been more comfy than the Bjorn. If you're looking to invest in a carrier, I think that the Calyx is THE most comfy carrier I've ever used.

I am an ERGObaby mama all the way! I love that you can do front, back or hip carry!

We have an ERGO and a babyhawk and a BBO and I love them all. I also have a ring sling but it's better for short carries.

What are you talking about, barely a blog? This is GREAT!
I had a Baby Bjorn Active and found it very comfortable!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering the giveaway! Good luck and come back by anytime!

If you want something that is better on your back than the bjorn I would definitely check out a mei tai. It is so much more supportive. There are so many great ones out there. I've tried a Kozy and a Silly Goose Baby carrier and love them both. If you'd like pictures of either come visit. :)

Oh, I love their sweet faces when they are worn!!

What a sweet baby face!
And I agree, the Nonny&Boo slings are soooo pretty. :)

How old/heavy is that adorable little man? :) Just askin' because it would help determine what kind of carrier might work best...I love my slings and my mei tai - you might keep your eye out at http://www.babyslingoutlet.com/ where you can find great deals on clearance and closeout carriers of all kinds. It's hit or miss, since the best deals are in short supply, but I got my wonderful Ellaroo mei tai there for $25 delivered.
Your little man is going to look adorable in those babylegs I'm sending!

LOVE that top picture! The Nonny and Boo carriers are so tempting, especially the flying heart wrap. Unfortunately I can't justify buying one more. If you sew, you should try making a sling: http://www.ida.net/users/stace/sling.html It's really easy, and takes about an hour.
I wanted to let you know about the contest I am having right now. It is for a two week taster pack of Glow Mama drinks! They are great for moms and pregnant women. Stop by and enter when you have a minute :-)
